About the Speaker: Dr. Treece has been performing research on improved solar materials, new energy conversion devices, high-power semiconductors and high-temperature superconductors since he received his PhD from UCLA in 1992 and won a National Research Council Postdoctoral Fellowship to study at the Naval Research Laboratory (Washington, DC). He has received funding for his research from the National Science Foundation and the Departments of Energy and Defense. He is the founder and President of Astralux Environmental Solutions. Dr. Treece has a total of more than 100 publications, patents, and presentations.
